Call for Abstracts 2026
The Talk & Abstract submission process is your opportunity to share fresh insights and new findings that will help shape Europe’s biochar sector.
For 2026, submissions will be accepted under two program tracks:
Scientific Abstracts and Industry Talks.
Scientific Abstracts:
Researchers and technical practitioners are invited to submit their latest work—new data, innovative methods, or breakthroughs that advance our understanding of biochar and support sector-wide development. Scientific abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee.

Industry Talks:
We welcome industry actors from across the biochar value chain to share real-world experience, sector insights, and solutions to operational or strategic challenges. No, this is not the place for corporate pitches — save those for the exhibition. The Industry Review Committee will review industry abstracts.

Session Topics include:
How to make your abstracts stand out?
- Reviewers will assess clarity, quality, novelty, relevance, and potential impact.
- Alignment with the Summit’s themes will influence selection for presentation slots.
- Keep your audience in mind, be engaging, concise, and make us excited to hear more.
- Stage Presentation slots will be 12 – 15 minutes plus a short question period.
- Poster presenters will have an opportunity to provide a short (about 3 minutes) presentation in a poster presentation tour.
Accepted presentions will receive a speaker ticket at the reduced rate of €350.
Accepted posters will receive a poster ticket at the reducedrate of €650.
